The distinguished feature of this sauce from regular honey mustard sauce is the addition of chilli powder/cayenne. It adds the right touch of heat that perfectly balances with the sharp mustard kick and sweetness of the honey.

Mayonnaise: I used regular mayonnaise, but you can use low fat or light mayonnaise for low fat version dip.
Dijon Mustard:
Honey
Chilli powder/Cayenne: Just a little is enough to balance the sweet and tangy taste of sauce. Add more to spice up your sauce.
Vinegar: I’ve used distilled malt vinegar to enhance the flavour of the sauce.
How To Make Spicy Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce?

In a bowl, put mayonnaise, dijon mustard, honey, chilli powder, vinegar.
Whisk until it is smooth and creamy.

You can either serve this delicious homemade honey mustard sauce straight away or keep it in fridge for at least 30 minutes for the best taste.
Transfer remaining sauce to a clean glass jar and store it in the fridge.
Variations and Substitutions
Consistency: Add a bit more vinegar or a splash of water to thin the sauce, making it perfect for use as a salad dressing.
Mustard: For intense flavour, you can combine yellow mustard with Dijon mustard.
Vegan: For a vegan version, substitute honey with maple syrup or agave.
Garlic powder: It’s a great addition to enhance the flavour.
Lemon Juice: If you don’t have vinegar, you can use lemon juice instead.
How To Serve Creamy Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce?
Use this homemade honey mustard sauce as a dressing for salads such as sweet potato bean salad, butternut squash black eyed pea salad, quinoa vegetable salad and pear walnut cranberry salad.
Great as a dipping sauce for vegetable sticks and fries.

1 cup = 250ml ; 1 tablespoon = 15ml ; 1 teaspoon = 5ml
- 145 gms (or) ½ cup mayonnaise

Instructions
