- Avocado: Medium-size ripe avocado must be used.
- Yogurt: I have used Greek yogurt but any thick and creamy yogurt could be used.
- Herbs and Seasoning: I have used fresh coriander leaves, freshly cracked black pepper. salt and ground cumin.
- Lime: I have used lime juice to enhance the flavour but lemon juice could be used instead.

How to make avocado yogurt dip?
In a bowl, place avocado and mash with a fork or masher until soft.
To this avocado paste add a cup plain greek yogurt, salt, pepper, cumin and coriander leaves.
Stir with a spoon until everything is well combined.
Check the taste and add more seasoning if necessary.

It doesn't matter whether you use store-bought yogurt or homemade as long as it is thick that yields creamy and thick avocado dip. Do not use low-fat yogurt or thin yogurt as it will ruin the consistency of the dip.
However, low-fat or zero-fat greek yogurt is naturally thick and is perfect to use in this recipe.
