Looking for a simple yet elegant summer recipe? Try this mixed berry yogurt parfait. It’s an excellent treat to make with the kids and perfect for dessert, after-school snacks, or kids’ parties.

Preparing yogurt granola parfait is fast, super easy and a lot of fun too. This is a simple and interesting recipe for kids to make themselves with little assistance and adult supervision.

This is an engaging dish that will get the kids involved in the kitchen and start their culinary journey. Encourage the kids to layer yogurt, granola, and fruits.

The best part about this recipe is that there are no strict measurements for kids to follow. Instead, they get to decide how to layer the ingredients and how much of each to add based on their preferences.

Letting them take charge helps kids get excited about trying new things, especially whole fruits they might usually avoid.

We have used mini glass jars to make it more interesting and visually appealing for kids. You will find same jars featured in coconut milk mousse recipe on the blog too!

Do not allow kids to use a sharp knife if they are willing to chop fruits. The plastic knives specially designed for kids are a great alternative that reduces the chances of bad cuts. You should supervise children while they use the sandwich maker. For more details, check out the recipe and safety disclaimer.
