This easy mango lemonade recipe can be customised to suit an individual’s requirements. Do you like the slushie texture? blend frozen fruit until smooth and thick.

Mango Lemonade Recipe Variations

Try adding a small spoon of grated ginger for a mild spicy touch. Alternatively, blend a small piece of the fresh ginger root along with the rest of the ingredients.

Frozen mango chunks act as ice in this recipe. Fresh mango also works well, however, to get the frosty or slushie texture you have to blend a handful of crushed ice with mango.

Blend a few peaches along with mangoes to make delicious mango peach lemonade or blend with strawberries to make strawberry mango lemonade.

Blend ¼ cup coconut milk to infuse nutty taste and aroma. Coconut flavour beautifully compliments sweet and tart mango lemonade.

You can substitute sugar with honeymaple syrup, or any other healthy sweetener.

Ingredients

Mango: I’ve used frozen mango to get the thick and smooth consistency like a slushie. Feel free to use fresh mango and ensure to blend it with a lot of crushed ice to get a thick consistency. Or just blend fresh mangoes with the rest of the ingredients and pour lemonade over ice cubes in glasses and enjoy.

Sweetener: I’ve used regular white sugar. You can swap it with any healthy alternatives such as honey, maple syrup, agave nectar or you can totally skip the sugar if mangoes are sweeter.

Water: Sparkling water has been used in this recipe to add a perfect fizz. You can use just plain water if you are not a fan of fizzy drinks.

Lime Juice: It is the most essential ingredient to make lemonade. I’ve used freshly squeezed lemon juice, you can use either fresh lemon or lime juice.

How to make mango lemonade?

2. Blend until smooth and thick like slushie consistency.

process of making mango lemonade.

Divide this refreshing mango drink into 3 glasses and serve this sparkling lemonade immediately.

Notes

Use high powered blender as an ordinary blender is likely not powerful enough to blend frozen fruits and that can cause blades to brake. Alternatively, you can partially thaw the frozen fruit so that an ordinary blender can blitz and ensure you get smooth and refreshing mango lemonade.

Adjust sugar and lemon juice based on your taste preference. You can leave out the sugar if a mango is sweet enough.

You can swap plain cold water for sparkling if you don’t like fizzy lemonade.

Add an additional half or full lime juice to infuse an intense citrus flavour to this lemonade with mango.
