Dressing is essential as without it you just have an ordinary salad which doesn't actually require a recipe. Fruit salad is easy to put together and you can use whatever seasonal fruits you like but ginger lime dressing promotes the salad from ordinary to exotic. This simple lemon and ginger infused dressing is made by simmering water, sugar, cinnamon, cardamom and ginger until syrupy.
