Fresh fruit salad with simple ginger lime dressing is an colourful and exotic salad that is great to have any time of the day from breakfast to dinner. The best part of this easy fruit salad is the simplicity of the dressing this is enhanced with ginger, lemon and cardamom. It adds just the right amount of lemon - gingery flavour to keep the salad fresh and refreshing.
For dressing place water, sugar in a saucepan and bring it to boil. Now add cinnamon, cardamom, ginger and simmer for 8-10 minutes or until syrupy and turn off the heat.
1 Cup Water, 1 inch Cinnamon, 1 Teaspoon Ginger, 2 Cardamom pods, ½ Cup Sugar
Mix in lime juice and leave the syrup to cool.
2 Tablespoon Lime Juice
Strain the mixture and keep it aside.
For the fruit salad, combine all the fruits in a large bowl, pour over the syrup and stir gently and serve in an individual bowls.
