Saffron tea - a soothing and warming drink that combines saffron's delicate fragrance with cardamom's warmth. Perfect for unwinding after a busy day or for cozying up on chilli days.
Place green cardamom in a mortar, grind with a pestle and remove the peel.
1 Green Cardamom
Now add saffron strands and continue grinding until powder.
1 Teaspoon (or) big pinch Saffron
Now add warm water to the mortar and let the saffron mixture soak for 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, bring 2 cups of water to boil in a saucepan.

Add a soaked saffron mixture water, maple syrup and continue boiling for another 3-4 minutes.
1 Teaspoon Maple Syrup
Switch the heat off and pour saffron tea a cup and serve it hot.
