Servings 2 glasses

  • 3 cups Watermelon
  • Lemon juice from half lemon

  • Cut the watermelon into chunks, remove the seeds and sin.
  • Place 2 cups watermelon in a freezer bag and pop it in the freezer for a few hours before you plan to make a slushie.
  • Once frozen blend them with fresh watermelon and lemon juice in a high power blender.
  • You may need to scrape down the sides a few times and continue to blend until smooth and slushie.
  • Transfer slushie to a glass and serve immediately.

Adjust lemon juice as per your required taste.
If you do not have a high power blender, use a food processor.
For us, natural sweetness from watermelon is sufficient. You could add maple syrup, honey or any sweetener if necessary.
