Instructions
Bring a pot of water to boil, add broccoli florets and boil for 4-5 minutes until they are tender.
215 gms (or) 1 small Broccoli
Remove the florets from the pot and place them in a bowl or a plate.
Add pasta to the same pot of water and cook until al dente as per instructions of the packet.
200 gms Macaroni Pasta
Meanwhile, in a pan or skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped garlic and fry until aromatic.
2 Teaspoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 2 cloves Garlic
Now add cooked broccoli, pasta water and mix well.
Lightly mash and break broccoli with spoon if you prefer smaller chunks.
Now add peas, salt, pepper and stir well.
Crushed Black Pepper, Salt, ½ Cup (or) 80 gms Frozen Green Peas
Now take the cooked pasta out of water using a strainer and add it to the pan.
Stir in grated cheese and toss everything well until well combined and heated through.
½ Cup (or) 60 gms Cheddar Cheese
Serve piping hot broccoli peas pasta on its own or with any side dish of your choice.
Notes
