Rose lassi is a perfect yogurt-based drink flavoured with homemade rose syrup made with just 3 main ingredients. A great way to quench thirst on hot summer days.
Place yogurt, rose syrup and cardamom in a blender.
2 cups (or) 480 ml Chilled natural yogurt, 1/3 cup (or) 83 ml Chilled Milk, 1/2 cup (or) 120ml Rose syrup, 1 Teaspoon Cardamom
Blend until lassi becomes smooth and frothy.
Check the consistency and add milk if necessary to thin the lassi down a bit.
Pour lassi in glasses, garnish with dry fruits (pistachios, almonds) and dried rose petals.
1 Teaspoon Pistachios (optional), 1 Teaspoon Almonds (optional), few Edible dried rose petals (optional)
Serve refreshing, fragrant and delicious rose lassi.
Notes
Adjust milk while blending depending on your required consistency.Add a little more milk to get a slightly thin consistency.You could use store-bought rose syrup such as rooh-afza if you don't have enough time to make rose syrup at home.Keep lassi in the fridge if you wish to serve later.You can store lassi for up to 2 days in the refrigerator.As I have used homemade rose syrup(didn't add any artificial food colouring) the lassi has turned light pink, lassi might turn bright and vibrant pink with store-bought rose syrup as it contains artificial food colouring.** Nutritional information provided here is estimated and for guidance only.Please refer myRecipe Disclaimerfor more details.
