Wash and peel turnip skin, cut it into bite-size cubes and keep it aside.
Preheat oven at 220 C/200 C Gas mark 7/430 F and keep baking tray inside the oven.
Meanwhile, combine oil, salt, pepper and cumin in a small bowl.
Put turnip cubed and toss well.
Transfer seasoned turnips to a piping hot baking tray and spread it in a single layer. Ensure to space them well.
Keep the tray in the oven and roast for 15 minutes.
Take the tray out, mix well and return to oven and continue to roast for further 10 minutes.
