Watermelon Salad

Watermelon salad is a refreshing and flavourful summer salad made with few ingredients, minimal efforts and in just 5 minutes! A colourful salad that is healthy, oil free, gluten free and vegan.

1 cup = 250ml ; 1 tbsp = 15ml

  • 540 gms (3 cups) Watermelon chopped
  • handful Mint chopped
  • 50 gms (1/3 cup) Almonds sliced
  • Lime juice from 1 lime
  • Salt as required
  • Crushed pepper as required


  • In a medium bowl, combine watermelon cubes, mint, lime juice, almonds, salt and pepper.
  • Toss until everything is well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  • Serve immediately.



Always use chilled watermelon to make this salad as it tastes best when served chilled.
Do not add almonds if you have nut allergy.
