Watermelon Salad

Watermelon salad without feta cheese is a refreshing and flavourful summer salad made with few ingredients, minimal efforts and in just 5 minutes! A colourful salad that is healthy, oil free, gluten free and vegan.

Ingredients

1 Cup = 250ml ; 1 Tablespoon = 15ml ; 1 Teaspoon = 5ml

  • 540 gms (or) 3 cups Watermelon chopped
  • handful Mint leaves chopped
  • 50 gms (or) ⅓ cup Almonds sliced
  • Lime juice from 1 lime (adjust to taste)
  • Salt as required
  • Crushed black pepper as required

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine watermelon cubes, mint, lime juice, almonds, salt and pepper.
    540 gms (or) 3 cups Watermelon, handful Mint leaves, 50 gms (or) ⅓ cup Almonds, Lime juice, Salt, Crushed black pepper
  • Toss until everything is well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

Always use chilled watermelon to make this salad as it tastes best when served chilled.
Do not add almonds if you have nut allergy.
