Creamy Yogurt Fruit Salad

Fresh, vibrant and creamy yogurt fruit salad is incredibly easy to make and makes a perfect breakfast or a healthy snack.

Ingredients

1 Cup = 250ml ; 1 Tablespoon = 15ml ; 1 Teaspoon = 5ml

    Fresh Fruits

    • 131 gms (or) ¾ cup Strawberries hull and slice into half
    • 112 gms (or) ½ cup Grapes slice each into half
    • 40 gms (or) ⅓ cup Pomegranate arils
    • 1 Banana  peeled and cut into rounds
    • 1 Apple cored and cut into cubes
    • 1 Plums pitted and cut into cubes
    • 1 Orange  peeled, white pith removed and segmented
    • Lemon juice from half lemon

    Nuts and Dried Fruits

    • 6-8 Almonds slivered
    • 1 Tablespoon Raisins

    For dressing

    • 135 gms Greek yogurt  
    • 1 Tablespoon Maple syrup 
    • 2 Cardamom pods crushed

    Instructions

    For Dressing

    • Add the yogurt to a bowl and whisk well.
      135 gms Greek yogurt  
    • Add the maple syrup, cardamom and stir until well combined.
      1 Tablespoon Maple syrup , 2 Cardamom pods
    • Keep it aside.

    For Fruit Salad

    • In a large bowl, add all the fresh fruits, lemon juice and stir well.
      131 gms (or) ¾ cup Strawberries, 112 gms (or) ½ cup Grapes, 40 gms (or) ⅓ cup Pomegranate arils, 1 Banana , 1 Apple, 1 Plums, 1 Orange , Lemon
    • Now add the dressing, nuts, dried fruits and stir until all the fruits are well coated. 
      1 Tablespoon Raisins, 6-8 Almonds
    • Enjoy creamy and delicious fruit salad with yogurt and nuts.

    Notes

    Do not skip the lemon juice as it elevates the flavour of dressing and keeps fruits from browning. 
    Ensure not to let the fruit salad sit outside for a long period of time as the yogurt dressing might go sour and taste unpleasant. 
    Keep the salad in the fridge until ready to serve to maintain the freshness of fruits and yogurt.
